The Thousand Helmets Heritage collection helmet is their original product. Thousand set out to marry form and function with a helmet that both keeps you safe and that you actually want to wear. The smooth curves on the Heritage Helmet have been inspired by the 50s and 60s, particularly the motorbike helmets from that time with their distinct colours and simple ornamentation.
Once you get past it’s good looks (it took us a while), you start noticing the array of clever features that the Thousand Helmets have. There is ratcheting fit system to keep the helmet secured on your head and the helmet uses a minimal amount of cleverly position venting to keep your head cool. The chin strap is wrapped in soft vegan leather and is secured in place by a magnetic buckle.
